Justin Bieber premieres 'Boyfriend' music video Thursday, find out what collaborator Mike Posner is 'most impressed by'

Justin Bieber will be debuting his music video for his latest single “Boyfriend” on Thursday.

On 7:50pm on MTV on MTV First: Justin Bieber, the pop star will be showcasing his video and directly following its premiere, he will be sitting down for an interview.

“Boyfriend” was co-written by Mason Levy and “Cooler Than Me” singer Mike Posner, CBS News reports. The single is on Bieber’s latest album Believe, which drops on June 19.

MTV News caught up with Bieber’s collaborator, Posner, who said that "Justin's super hands-on with his music.”

"He comes up with amazing melodies — that's what I was most impressed by,” he continued to say. “We'd put on a beat or something, and he goes into a booth, and he freestyles these melodies, and they're crazy."

Posner also dished about the studio sessions he had with Bieber, noting "It was definitely insane. I was just honored to be a part of the project."
