"To be handpicked by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl is truly amazing," Georgia said in a statement. "I've always admired Madonna's style and I'm thrilled to be working with them."
Miss Jagger is also the face of Rimmel cosmetics and has appeared in ads for H&M and Hudson Jeans and on the cover of magazines including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar UK March issue. She is currently featured in a charity campaign, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
Material Girl launched in 2010 and is sold exclusively at Macy’s stores in the U.S. and Canada and online and will be expanding to the U.K., Europe and Australia this summer. Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes "Lola" Leon, helps collaborate with designing the junior clothing line.
The faces of Material Girl have one thing in common: They all are rock stars...or are at least related to one. Georgia will replace Kelly Osbourne, who replaced the original face, Taylor Momsen, the actress turned singer.
Georgia will appear in the back-to-school campaign for Material Girl this summer.
