Michael Fassbender flu becomes a fever with new June 2012 GQ cover

Learn how to pick up women from 'Shame' star

It’s almost June and the temperature is scorching. No, it’s not a heat wave but something better. The GQ Magazine Man of the Year 2011 graces the June issue of the U.S. issue. The Shame star who has been magnetizing audiences since he was Magneto in X-Men: First Class is steaming between the covers. Forget the Pick-Up Artist just learn from the master. If you ever have trouble approaching women and moving beyond unspoken glances have no fear. Take a look inside GQ and learn from the wunderkind that is Michael Fassbender.

Fassbender fans can pick up an issue of the actor’s racy interview and photoshoot on May 22 and will not be disappointed. The layout was photographed by Mario Testino and be warned that they are NSFW. Fassbender delivers with his unabashed sex appeal, provocative poses, and his signature unapologetic enjoyment of the female form. The actor arrived for the almost Shame-inspired photo session on his motorcycle without a entourage of handlers.

He may be everywhere at the moment but it took 18 years to arrive. After finishing high school at 17 Fassbender set off for London at 17 where he was classmates with Tom Hardy at Drama Centre London. At 21 he made his first professional debut in an airline commercial almost as racy as Shame. It was a sign of things to come. Audiences really started to take notice of Fassbender during his various stints on BBC but it was his turn as Stellios in 300 and Inglorious Basterds where his star began its ascent. In the later Fassbender dazzled with his multi-lingual skills and outshined Brad Pitt with ease. Despite all the attention he receives for being classically handsome this is no talentless pretty boy. Fassbender is known for memorizing a script up to 300 before shooting a film. He tells GQ that he takes his acting seriously even if he doesn’t take himself so seriously.

Finally, Fassbender also confirms that he is not single. No surprise really when one considers that he is the most wanted man in the world right now. His lucky real-life leading lady is the equally exquisite Nicole Beharie who co-starred with him in Shame. Beharie must be one understanding girlfriend given how risqué Fassbender got with a model for the June 2012 GQ issue. Fassbender is set to deliver another juggernaut screen performance in the upcoming Prometheus.
