Supermodel Naomi Campbell will become the latest reality TV star.
Campbell has signed on for a role in the upcoming reality series The Face for the Oxygen network.
The series will focus on three supermodel coaches (which include Campbell) who show their teams of aspiring models how to survive in the modeling world.
The winner will get a contract to model for a major national brand. The other coaches and the brand have yet to be announced.
"Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches will mentor these young hopefuls through the tricks of the trade while exposing them to the very best photographers, stylists and designers in the fashion world," a spokesperson for the network said, notes The Wrap.
The series will be produced by Shine America, which also produced The Biggest Loser.
"I am looking forward to working in partnership with Oxygen and Shine America to discover the next beautiful face of the modeling world," Campbell said in the statement. "With The Face the audience will get a real insider’s look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me."
A premiere date for the series is pending.
"The Face is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves: fashion, beauty and drama,” said Oxygen executive Rod Aissa. "Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modeling genre and this project delivers it."
