One of Whitney Houston’s last songs, a track from the movie Sparkle, which also features co-star Jordin Sparks, has been released.
Although Houston tragically passed away on February 11, she has already finished shooting Sparkle, her follow-up film to the successful Bodyguard and her big screen comeback.
The film will hit theaters this summer, and now the song “Celebrate” has surfaced on the Internet.
Entertainment Weekly reports that “Celebrate” was produced by R. Kelly.
At the end of the song, “We love you, Whitney” was added in as an ode to the late singing legend.
The film will be released on August 17 and also co-stars Derek Luke, Mike Epps, and The Voice mentor Cee-Lo Green.
The New York Daily News reports that “Celebrate” premiered on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Monday morning.
After Sparks appeared on the show to debut the song, she took to her Twitter account to write "'I celebrate YOU, you celebrate ME!' #Celebrate #Sparkle."
