Actress Keira Knightley celebrated her engagement to musician James Righton over the weekend. The Pirates of the Caribbean star reportedly also bought a new home for nearly $3.8 million.
According to The U.K.’s Daily Mail, Knightley has just moved into a new London home that was once owned by Minority Report actress Samantha Morton. She reportedly paid £2.4 million, or about $3.8 million for the Spitalfields, East London townhouse.
CNN notes that the home has a private movie theater, library, music room and dressing room. Also included is a studio house in the garden.
Righton and Knightley will also have an interesting collection of neighbors, including artists Tracey Emin and Gilbert and George and chef Angela Hartnett, notes the Daily Mail.
“It used to be a tough neighborhood and it still is a bit rough round the edges, but the influx of big stars is changing it dramatically. You see Keira wandering around, often wearing a hat to hide her features. She still gets recognized, but no one hassles her,” a resident told the paper.
Knightley’s publicist confirmed the engagement on Friday. The actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the 2006 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, had been dating the Klaxons keyboard player since early last year.
Although her publicist didn’t release any information on the proposal or wedding plans, People reports that Kightley was seen wearing her engagement ring while the two walked around London on Sunday.
Knightley’s next film is Seeking a Friend for the End of the World with Steve Carell. It hits theaters on June 22.
