The Blind Side actress, Sandra Bullock and Bridesmaids funny-gal Melissa McCarthy will team up in a 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment cop-duo comedy film.
Variety reports that the untitled film will be directed and executive produced by Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, with the script written by Parks and Recreations own Katie Dippold.
According to reports, the film will follow a high-strung FBI agent (Bullock) and an “unconventional Boston cop” (McCarthy).
The project was difficult to nail in due to scheduling conflicts among both actresses. Currently, McCarthy works on the CBS sitcom, Mike and Molly, while Bullock recently wrapped Gravity, in which she costars with George Clooney. The film was originally slated to hit theaters in November, but has since been pushed back to sometime in 2013.
McCarthy, on the other hand, will keep her summer busy while Mike and Molly is on break. She will start working on Identity Theft with Jason Bateman and John Cho. She also stars in this year’s This is 40, which costars Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Jason Segel and Megan Fox.
