Pop-rock band Maroon 5 released the music video for their song, “One More Night,” on Monday. MTV premiered the clip featuring front man Adam Levine as a boxer supporting his wife and child. The song serves as the second single from Maroon 5's fourth album, Overexposed.

The “One More Night” music video opens up with some gold fish in a bowl floating around with Levine tending to his daughter in a seemingly middle-class setting. Actress Minka Kelly plays Levine's wife in the clip. Dispersed throughout are shots of Levine training in a gym for a boxing match. Levine battles his competitor in the ring as the other members of Maroon 5 watch the match as different characters. Kelly is seen looking unhappy around the home in Levine's absence. As soon as he wins the match and returns to the house, Levine finds that Kelly has taken mostly everything, including their daughter. He looks on in disbelief as the fish continue swimming in the nearly empty household.
Rolling Stone perfectly sums up the “One More Night” video when they write: “Despite the track's laid-back reggae sound, the clip is quite emotionally heavy.”
Coincidentally, Maroon 5's latest music video was released on the tenth anniversary of the album, Songs About Jane. That was the group's first major label album and it went on to become their breakthrough, which helped them garner the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2005. Maroon 5 is currently promoting the Overexposed record.
