Drew Barrymore wore custom made Chanel gown for her big day

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Now that actress Drew Barrymore is officially the new Mrs. Kopelman, fans can finally get a glimpse into what the mom-to-be wore on her special day.

The Going the Distance actress and Kopelman married on June 2 at the actress' Montecito estate with friends and family looking on. According to People, the bride wore a custom made muslin and organza gown designed by Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel.

Lagerfeld told In Style of his masterpiece, “I think she looked beautiful and it fit her strong personality.”

Drew helped the customization of the dress every step of the way down to the black satin sash that she wore around her waist. “She wanted that. I loved it. I love her,” Lagerfeld adds to In Style. The gown was fit with embroidered tulle flowers and feathers on the skirt, while she accessorized with, well, Chanel of course!

The bride wore diamond and white gold “Fil de Camelia” earrings and on her cuff, a vintage “Eventail” piece which featured 14 carats of black and white diamonds, People reports.

Charlie’s Angel co-star and best bud Cameron Diaz was on hand during the final fittings just days before the wedding and helped Drew pick out the perfect veil. A source close to the actress revealed to People that she was searching for something “traditional.” Adding, “Even though there are things about her that are very modern, it’s an old-world tradition she wanted to have.”

Friends and family who attended the big day mention that Drew looked “radiant,” “gorgeous, and completely relaxed and beautiful.”
