'Jersey Shore' cast makes millions for Season 6

By Diana Cooper,

Ever wonder why Pauly D put his DJ career on halt, why Snooki would return to the Shore House being pregnant and why Mike 'The Situation' decided to return after rehab?

The answer lies in their paycheck, but not the one from the Shore Store. These three stars of the Jersey Shore will reportedly make $150,000 per episode, according to Radar Online.

With each season averaging about 12 episodes, DelVecchio, Sorrentino and Polizzi will make about $2.5 million including bonuses.

Fellow cast members, who aren’t as famous, are earning less. From the highest to lowest salaries, Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley receives $100,000 per episode, Vinny Guadagnino receives $90,000 per episode and couple Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro make $80,000. So when Vinny went home last season, he lost a lot of money for the episodes he wasn't in.

The newest cast member, Deena Cortese, who is scheduled to appear in court on July 3, makes $40,000 per episode. E! reported that she may be up for a pay raise if there is a seventh season, but “An executive producer announced that this season will be the last,” In Touch revealed.

Each cast member makes an additional $400,000 for signing to the season, $200,000 at the end of the season and $150,000 for attending the reunion episodes.

After the sixth season is over, the questions is how much will these reality stars make for not partying, tanning and “smushing”?
