Actress Kristen Stewart has been named as the highest-paid actress by Forbes magazine.
Stewart’s latest film, Snow White and the Huntsman, has made over $200 million worldwide since its release over two weeks ago.
Her next film, The Twilight Saga-Breaking Dawn Part II, is set for release Nov. 16. It is set to be the final chapter in the Twilight film series.
"She (Stewart) is an up-and-coming star. She is earning a lot of money from one of the most successful franchises of all time. This is who you would expect to see right now," the magazine’s Los Angeles bureau chief Dorothy Pomerantz said.
Diaz’s last film, Bad Teacher (2011), made over $200 million, on a budget of $20 million.
Sandra Bullock placed third on Forbes’s list with $25 million. Her placement was partially due to profits she is still bringing in from The Blind Side (2009), the film which won her the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Her fellow Oscar winners Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron (Stewart’s Snow White co-star) rounded out the top 5 with $20 million and $18 million, respectively.
