Kristin Chenoweth lands recurring role on fourth season of CBS' 'The Good Wife'

Kristin Chenoweth has landed a recurring role on CBS’ The Good Wife.

Joining the show’s stars Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth, Chenoweth will play a political journalist who’s concern lies with Margulies and Noth's marriage.

According to Variety, the GCB star's character will debut on the show’s fourth season in September.

Chenoweth has both an Emmy and a Tony under her belt, having received an Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Pushing Daisies. She was also nominated for an Emmy for her guest role on Fox’s Glee.

Broadway World reports that some of Chenoweth’s theater credits include Wicked, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree, Funny Girl, Box Office of the Damned and more.

Chenoweth’s newest album is Some Lessons Learned, which she’s supporting on a North American tour right now.

The Good Wife has earned the most Emmy nominations for a broadcast network series with 9 from the 2011 Primetime Emmys. Other awards the show has received are from the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild, Peabody Awards and the People's Choice Awards.
