Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have said “I do.”
E! reports that McConaughey and Alves tied the knot in a small ceremony in Texas, surrounded by friends and family.
Reports surfaced that the wedding was taking place this weekend after a party-rental truck and a truck filled with orchids were seen enterting McConaughey’s Texas home.
According to People, Alves is legally taking her husband’s last name. The Brazilian model and designer will now be known as Camila McConaughey.
Just last year, McConaughey told CNN's Piers Morgan that he and Alves had no official plans to marry in the immediate future. He said, “To do that, you have to really feel it. You have to really want to move forward to those things. Right now we are wonderfully happy, healthy. I get no pressure."
The pair became engaged in December and married after being together for six years and having two children.
After the wedding ceremony, the guests enjoyed a party, staying the night in tents erected on McConaughey’s property.
McConaughey can next be seen in this summer’s Magic Mike, which comes out on June 29.
