Matthew McConaughey and his fiancé Camila Alves are reportedly tying the knot this weekend in Texas.
The wedding weekend is said to be a very intimate affair, with the couple only invited about a dozen close friends and family members.
Sources tell E! News that Alves was scheduled to appear at a luncheon on Friday in Beverly Hills to be honored by the Step Up Women’s Network, but due to the wedding, she will only be sending a message via video so that she can focus on prepaing for the wedding.
On Christmas, McConaughey, 42, announced on his WhoSay page that he had proposed to his longtime love, Alves, 30.
“Just asked Camila to marry me, Merry Christmas," he wrote at the time, posting a picture of the two kissing.
The couple have been dating since 2006, ABC News reports, and they have two children together; Levi, almost 4, and Vida, 2.
Texas is McConaughey’s home state and the family just made the move from Los Angeles to Austin, where the actor says "We got children, family values, neighbors and common sense."
