Earlier this year, The Wanted appeared on the television show, The Voice, where they interacted with Christina Aguilera, and she did not leave a good impression on the group.
Back in April, Tom Parker of The Wanted told a radio station, "She's a total b*tch! She might not be a b*tch in real life, but to us, she was a b*tch. She just sat there and didn't speak to us," in reference to Aguilera.
While months have passed, it seems that the boys of The Wanted are not over Aguilera’s snub, continuing to badmouth the “Dirrty” singer.
Entertainment Wise reports that at a radio show for 92.3 Now, the boy band added fuel to the fire, saying they were not sorry for their comments.
According to MTV News, the boys of The Wanted tried to clear up their comments, apologizing and saying that they meant that Aguilera was a “loudmouth,” but immediately took back their apology.
Sarah Lee, the interviewer, then pulled out a board, asking the guys to play a game with her. Lee brought out a poster with the words “beautiful,” “Britney,” and “b*tch,” and The Wanted were asked to match pictures of Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Britney Spears to the words.
Parker quickly matched Lopez to the word “beautiful” and Spears to “Britney.” When it came to Aguilera, Parker then put her picture over his crotch, and then rubbed it over his butt, as he said that she belonged “up his arse.”
While Aguilera has not responded to the band’s comments, it is clear that time has not helped patch things up between the two.
