Black Eyed Peas’ star will.i.am was pulled over yesterday in his custom white car. Not only was he unable to provide paperwork for the car, the car was not registered and there was no VIN number or plates. The car, similar to the famous DeLorean, had parts that hadn’t been registered for ten years. The car was impounded, where it remains until will.i.am’s paperwork is in order.
According to E!Online, “Law enforcement sources say that will.i.am told the officers that the car was custom-made, and he was aware that the car should not be on the road but wanted to drive it.…”
The Black Eyed Peas formed in 1995 in Los Angeles. Their fifth album, The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies), was released in June 2009. They have sold around 56 million albums and singles across the globe.
Will.i.am is currently a judge on The Voice in Britain. He was recently in the news for carrying the Olympic torch, getting a lot of criticism for texting during the Olympic Torch procession.
