Mabel Pantaleon, the actress who disappeared from her home on Sunday, was found Thursday evening trying to buy a plane ticket at John F. Kennedy airport.
Sgt. John Buthorn of the New York Police Department confirmed to ABC News that the Dexter actress was picked up by New York Port Authority police.
Pantaleon, 31, suffers from a manic-depressive disorder. Burthon said that she was in “good condition, and there was nothing suspicious.”
The actress, who also appeared on Mystery ER, was trying to buy a ticket. Her name popped up on a police database. Police picked her up and immediately took her to Jamaica Hospital’s psychiatric emergency room.
“Everything is over, thank God. She's OK, and she is in the hospital,” her mother, Sylvia Pantaleon, said. “Thank god for everything .. that this is over now.”
Sylvia told ABC News that thinks that she was off her medication when she went missing over the weekend. Before she disappeared, Pantalon had accosted members of her family and accused one of being a terrorist.
“She was staying with me. She saw something on the Internet and got very upset, and she started saying a lot of weird things,” Sylvia added. “She said, 'I'm leaving from here, all of you are terrorists, you're not my mother. I knew it wasn't her.”
According to iMDB, Pantaleon appeared on an episode of Dexter and Mystery ER in 2008. Other appearances include a film called Double Down in 2006 and an episode of Untold Stories of the ER.
