'American Idol' winner Lee DeWyze marries Jonna Walsh

American Idol’s Lee DeWyze and model/actress Jonna Walsh wed Saturday in a luxurious California outdoor ceremony.

DeWyze tells People, “It was really our style of wedding. [It was] outdoors with chandeliers.” And the romance doesn’t stop there.

The 26-year old AI winner even wrote the song that his blushing bride walked down the aisle to. He states, “It's called 'Who Would Have Known.’ It's a personal song that will be on my next album."

Walsh donned a Lili Bridal strapless vintage-style lace embroidered mermaid style gown. The couple, who met in 2010 on the set of DeWyze’s music video, “Sweet Serendipity,” wed in front of 100 of their closest friends and family. Walsh recalls her first date with DeWyze, who took her to a Lakers/Bulls game. She tells People, “When he took me home that night I called my mom and told her that I was going to marry him. I could feel it in my heart."

DeWyze recalls, “When I realized I could be 100 percent myself around her all of the time I knew I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life." The couple exchanged simple bands from Tiffany’s at the ceremony and will soon jet off to Bali for their honeymoon. Walsh will take her new husband’s last name.

The proud groom shared his excitement with his 105,000 Twitter followers, writing, “Beautiful wedding, beautiful girl, just beautiful :) WERE MARRIED!”
