Almost every girl fell in love with Ryan Gosling after watching The Notebook, but who would think The Amazing Spider-Man star, Andrew Garfield, would as well.
The cover boy for the August issue of Teen Vogue, revealed his guy crush in an interview alongside girlfriend and co-star of The Amazing Spider-Man, Emma Stone.
When Emma talked about her upcoming role in Gangster Squad and mentioned she’s “fooling around with one of the cops” who happens to be her Crazy, Stupid, Love costar, Ryan Gosling, Andrew butts in.
“That freaking dreamboat...I think I’m more attracted to Ryan Gosling than any woman could ever be. I think about him so often. I’m not joking!”
After Emma chimed in with, “Here’s a little insight into Andrew’s psyche,” Andrew added, “I have a proper man crush. Years ago, we did a screen test together, and he was just so inspiring. He reminded me of what I imagined Pacino and De Niro were like back in the day, that kind of truthful, visceral, live-in acting. I was like, that’s what I want to follow.”
Sorry, Andrew, Daniel Radcliffe and all the girls in the world, but Ryan, 31, is taken by actress Eva Mendes, 38. The couple, who have been dating since September, were spotted last weekend enjoying a dinner and movie at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.
Even though Andrew has a guy crush on Gosling, he’s falling hard for Emma. While filming the summer hit movie, Andrew revealed how attached he was. “I couldn’t help but try to stay with her, keep pace with her, and not let her get away.”
Emma feels the same way. “Meeting Andrew, and working with Andrew...It was one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had,” she admitted after making Andrew cover his ears.
At the end of the interview, when asked who Spider-Man’s own hero is, Andrew named his mom, Emma’s mom and “of course, Ryan Gosling.”
