Children make video parody of 'Alien' scene (Video)

By Robert Kirchgassner,

A group of children recently made a video parody a famous scene in Ridley Scott’s classic 1979 film Alien.

The video was made by Kids Swede Movies, which is itself sponsored by the adult company We Don’t Give a Frak.

Other videos from the company can be found on YouTube.

The short film parodied the classic, intense moment when the title creature makes its first appearance by bloodily bursting through the stomach of officer Kane, played by John Hurt, and proceeds to wreck havoc on the rest of the ship's crew.

The spoof, while obviously less bloody, also lifted some of the dialogue from the scene in the original film. It utilizes such props as fake mustaches, pizza, a hair clip and a sock puppet playing the creature.

Other films the young acting troupe have parodied include The Big Lobowski (1998), There Will Be Blood (2007) and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975).

Scott’s latest film, Prometheus (2012), is the prequel to Alien and stars Charlize Theron and Noomi Repace. It is currently in theaters.
