Puckett, in turn, plays a video of the fight between Toomin, Ward and the two men to show why they were arrested. On the video, it seems that Toomin and Ward were enjoying savagely beating up the two men. Then, Toomin and Ward admit that they might have gotten “carried away.”
Shoot to Stanton telling Jared and Peter that the fight looked personal but since the two men would plead the fifth, there isn’t any point to calling them to testify. Stanton then tells Jared and Peter that pulling the two men’s’ service records might help. Then, Hanna enters. She seems interested in joining Jared and Peter on the case and tells them that she knows a way that they can get the high-level security clearance they need to see the files.

Shoot to Jared, Peter and Hanna looking at the files and finding much of it has been retracted/deleted.
Shoot Jared, Peter and Hanna learning that the two men were actually rejected by the EOD, but were admitted after the fight with Toomin and Ward with suspiciously similar recommendations. They also learn that it was Vaughn who helped the two men get into the EOD.

She admits nothing and tells Jared that she thinks that the two women should take the plea deal, which involves them admitting guilt for the incident. She then tells Jared that the two men are currently out of the country.
Shoot to Damien telling Alyssa that she’s being fired. She thinks that she’s being fired because of their relationship and tells him that not making it through the program will kill her future as a lawyer.

Shoot to Jared and Peter reviewing Vaughn’s Congressional testimony about women’s role in the armed forces. It turns out that she doesn’t support women engaging in combat on the front lines. Furthermore, Vaughn set up Toomin and Ward to either force them to quit when they were beaten by the men or be disqualified if they won and be court marshaled. Peter then comes with the strategy to use Vaughn’s affinity for women against her in court.
Shoot to the courtroom as Peter puts Toomin and Ward on the stand. He gets them to admit that they started the fight with the two men to prove that the Navy needed to re-evaluate its standards for putting women in combat. This qualifies as “sedition and mutiny” and Toomin and Ward are arrested. But, as they are being led away, Vaughn stands up and admits that she orchestrated the fight to show why the Navy prevents women from serving on the front lines. The charges against Toomin and Ward are then immediately dismissed.
