‘General Hospital’ weekly recap – Week of 7/16-7/20

Joe Jr. bribed a guard so he could call Trey.

Kate visited Joe Jr. in jail and he admitted that he “got rough that night.” She told him that he can’t hurt her anymore. He told her that he knows about the baby and where it ended up.

Sonny told Kristina that he would show Trey around the warehouse. While at the warehouse, Trey found Joe Jr’s medal.

Trey got a call from Joe Jr. He told him that he was okay but to not say anything about being his son.

Sonny told Kristina that he thinks Trey is hiding something.

Kate told Sonny that she went to see Joe Jr.

Trey just missed seeing Kate at the jail. He and Joe Jr. had an emotional reunion and he assured him that no one knew he was coming to see him.

Joe Jr. told Trey that he didn’t want him to be a part of the business that his grandfather was in and that no one can know that Trey’s real name is Joseph Scully III.

Dante visited Olivia at home. He told her that he and Lulu were having problems because she’s been spending time with Johnny. Olivia told Dante not to back off of Johnny because he isn’t the same person he used to be. She then told Dante to surprise Lulu with a beautiful dinner.

At the Haunted Star, Johnny asked Lulu about Anthony’s murder investigation and she told him that Dante thinks he’s involved. Lulu told Johnny that she’s worried about him but he told her that he’s fine.

Lulu fell and Johnny caught her just as Dante walked in. Dante yelled at Johnny to get his hands off of his wife. He wanted to take Lulu out for a nice dinner but she wouldn’t leave so Dante left without her.

At the PCPD, Heather told Anna that she didn’t bury Anthony. Then, Steve busted in and told Heather not to say anything more until her lawyer arrived. Then, a man who looks like Anthony came into the room. He told Anna that he was with Heather the night of the storm, stone drunk.

Steve then demanded that Anna release Heather and she did. Anna later thinks the guy was paid off by Heather.

Steve and Heather went home and Olivia was shocked that Heather was released. Olivia then left Steve and Heather to eat the romantic meal she made for her and Steve.

At the shack, Todd, wearing a hockey mask, gave Luke food. Luke wondered what Heather has on Todd and proposed to him that they work together against Heather.

Todd started to untie Luke but Heather called. She told him that she’s free and better not mess up her plans. He then re-gagged Luke and left the shack.

Kate told Sonny that Joe Jr. threw her son’s existence in her face.

Kate had a flash of a conversation between Connie and Johnny.

Kate went to Johnny for more information.

Joe Jr. told Trey that Sonny can’t know his true identity. Joe Jr. assured Trey that he would get out of jail and then Sonny wouldn’t be a problem for either of them.

Trey asked Joe Jr. why Sonny hates him and he told him that Sonny liked a girl but that she liked Joe Jr. better. He added that Sonny wanted everything Joe Jr. had including his grandfather’s business.

Trey wanted to drop “Mob Princess” but Joe Jr. wanted him to hide in plain sight.

Lulu crossed Luke’s name off the list for the re-opening party for The Haunted Star.

Johnny asked her if she’s bothered that she skipped town and she told him that she was confused because he was in a rush to see Tracy and forgot to lock up the club. She then remembered seeing Heather at the club and thought that she might know where Luke was.

Lulu then told Johnny that she was going to ask Anna about it but he told her to go home.

Sonny and Kate arrived at The Haunted Star to ask Johnny some questions. He told them that Kate’s flash was of Connie being afraid that Sonny would forgive her so she kissed Johnny. Johnny then invited Sonny and Kate to The Haunted Star’s reopening party but they declined.

Heather gave Steve a massage and told him that she hoped he and Olivia weren’t fighting because of her. She told him that she doesn’t think Olivia thinks she’s innocent and would have her sent back to Ferncliff in a minute. She adds that she wants what everyone wants, a family and love.

While Steve was in the shower, Heather logged onto Johnny’s office camera and saw Lulu and Johnny discussing her possibly knowing Luke’s whereabouts. Then, Steve walked in and told Heather that he had to go to the hospital. Once he left, Heather called the same man she had write Maggie’s confession letter and had him come over. She told him that she now needs him to write letters that look like they were from Luke. Olivia saw the man leave but when she asked Heather about him, she pretended not to know what she was talking about.

Dante started throwing out the dinner he made for him and Lulu when Olivia arrived with cannolis. She told him that she no longer trusts Johnny. Later, Lulu came home and apologized to Dante.

Carly walked in on Todd in his hotel room and asked about the hockey mask. He covered by saying that it was a gift from his son, Jack. They talked about their sons for a bit and Todd told Carly that Jack hates him. “He gets that from his mother.”

Carly then told Todd to lay off Johnny or his invite The Haunted Star reopening would be revoked. She then told him that Blair is coming and that she booked reservations for a room at the Metro Court.

Todd freaked out but admitted that their bond is unbreakable. He then begged Carly to tell Blair and her boyfriend, Tomas, that the Metro Court is booked and that there are no rooms available. Carly agreed to do so only if Todd left Johnny alone. She then advised not to mess up Starr’s big night.

Dante had a nightmare about Johnny and Lulu making out. Later, they fought over money.

Lulu received a letter she thought was from Luke saying that he left town.

Lulu received flowers she thought were from Dante but they were actually from
Johnny. Dante found out about the flowers and they fought.

Johnny assured Carly that The Haunted Star’s reopening party would be a success.

Todd called Carly incensed because Olivia booked Blair a room at the Metro Court. He then added that their deal was off and that Johnny better be ready.

Dante warned Johnny not to send his wife anymore flowers.

Heather called Todd and told him that she wanted to cover the party at The Haunted Star because she wanted to meet Blair. Todd refused to let her.

After Todd saw Blair at the Metro Court, he called Heather back, told her to go to the party and tail Johnny.

When Todd asked Blair where Tomas was, she told him that he wasn’t coming.
Carly and Blair hit it off before she left.

Todd told Carly that he thinks he and Blair have a shot at reconciliation. Carly was happy for him.

Heather visited Luke at the shack and told him that no one is looking for him…including Anna. She fed him then read him the letter she left for Lulu saying he left town. She also read him the letter she left for Anna, which said that Luke “didn’t love her yet but he will soon.”

Spinelli tried to evade Maxie while at Kelly’s but she spotted him. She asked him to go with her to The Haunted Star party. He refused.

Olivia told Spinelli to beef up his investigation of Heather. She also told him that she saw a weird guy leaving Steve’s place when Heather was there. She added that she took a picture of his license plate and found out he’s master forger.

Maxie called Patrick and asked him to go with her to The Haunted Star party. He agreed to go.

Olivia ran into Dante outside of Kelly’s and told him that Heather is in cahoots with a forger.

Emma and Patrick visited Anna at The Metro Court. Patrick told Anna that Maxie moved in with him and is helping out with Emma.

After Patrick and Emma left, Anna received the letter supposedly from Luke. After reading it, she cried. Lulu then showed up with her letter from Luke and both wondered if they asked too much of him.

Later, Spinelli came over and told Anna about the forger.

Todd got a call from Steve, who wanted to make sure that Heather was working that night.

Todd ran into Blair and told her that he was looking forward to talking to Starr…after her performance.

At the party, Kristina and Trey told Lulu about “Mob Princess” and Lulu thought it would be great publicity for the club.

When Carly arrived at the party, Johnny gave her a kiss before she went in.

When Maxie and Patrick showed up, they assured Lulu that they would have a good time.

Dante went to the station to talk to Anna about the forger. He told her that he wants to find the forger and question him. Anna agreed thinking about the letters from Luke she and Lulu received. Dante doesn’t know about Lulu’s letter.

When the forger is brought in for questioning and shown a picture of Heather, he said that he had never seen her before. Anna then told him that if he cooperated, charges won’t be brought against him. He then confessed that Heather hired him to forge Maggie’s confession letter. Anna pulled Maggie’s file and realized that Heather killed Maggie. She then worried about Luke.

At the party, Carly told Lulu that Luke would be proud of her.

At the party, Patrick popped a pill.

As Starr prepped backstage for her performance, Michael brought her flowers and told her that she was going to be great. Also, Todd and Blair gave her a hug before Johnny gave her a 10 minute warning.

Carly told Todd that dinner for him and Blair will be delivered to his suite as he requested and assured him that Blair would be thrilled.

Johnny bought Blair a drink and told her that he thinks Starr has healed in part due to his influence and that he would always be her friend.

Before Starr’s performance, Lulu made a toast to new beginnings and Johnny toasted Carly for believing in him.

After Starr’s performance, she and Michael kissed. Todd saw and was upset yet Blair was happy and Carly thought it was great.

Lulu checked her phone and found no messages from Dante.

Todd and Blair left to talk.

Patrick told Maxie he was leaving, popped another pill and saw Robin.

Olivia visited Steve at GH and told him that she spoke to Spinelli. Steve was angry and told Olivia that they need to take a break.

Later, Olivia walked in on Heather wearing a maid’s uniform in Anna’s hotel room.

Heather later went to the shack, ungagged Luke and told him that she knows that he doesn’t love her. But, then, she took out a vial of LSD and told him that it’s for Anna.
Luke tried to persuade to give him the LSD so he could make love to her all night long though tempted Heather re-gags Luke and goes to inject Anna with the LSD.

After the party, Lulu wished Dante had come.

Maxie called Lulu and told her that Patrick never made it home. Lulu assured Maxie that she would find him and left The Haunted Star to search for him.

Patrick saw Robin on the deck of The Haunted Star. She asked him to save her then disappeared. He then searched and kissed Lulu thinking she was Robin. He then told Lulu that he saw Robin and that she said she needed his help.

Lulu told Patrick that he saw Robin because he’s high but he denied it. She then asked if he took drugs from GH, reached into his pocket, found the pills and told him that they needed to talk.

At home, Kate wished she never left Sonny on the street corner when they were kids.

Kate wanted to make love with Sonny but he was concerned that she wasn’t ready and told her that he was willing to wait.

Kate assured him that she was ready and they made love. Afterward, Kate remembered Connie’s whole conversation with Johnny and slipped out of bed.

In Johnny’s office, Carly and Johnny discussed Starr’s performance. She told him that she’s happy for Michael and thought Starr was strong for forgiving Kate.

Carly told Johnny that she was glad he was out from under Anthony’s thumb. Later, they had sex on his desk and she goes home to Josslyn but invited Johnny to come over later. After Carly left, Connie showed up.

Dante and Anna sent a team to the forger’s apartment.

Dante called Olivia but got no answer.

Dante brought Anna a letter from Luke to her that was found in Heather’s apartment. Anna thought Luke was trying to give her clues to his location in the letter. She figured Luke’s code, that he’s in the woods and remembered the shack.

Luke screamed for help but realized he had to save himself but the knots binding him are too tight. He saw a candle and some matches and tried to get a flame going. He maneuvers to once lit candle to burn his ropes but dropped the candle on some papers and a fire started.

When Olivia found Heather in Anna’s room dressed as a maid, Heather offered her tea. Olivia guessed it was spiked but Heather downs the whole glass and acts like she’s high. Olivia then called her crazy and Heather got mad.

Olivia then asked Heather why she’s cavorting with a forger.

Olivia then called Dante and told her where she is. He told her Heather killed Maggie to protect Steve. Heather then jumped Olivia, pinned her against the door and showed the syringe full of LSD.

Todd kissed Blair and asked her to marry him. She told him that she can’t because she’s marrying Tomas.
