Jessica Simpson takes weight loss after baby one step at a time

It is no secret that Jessica Simpson has joined Weight Watchers to try and lose weight after having her baby girl Maxwell in May. Unlike some celebrities who seem to be in a rush to lose the baby weight after giving birth, Simpson does not seem to be in a hurry, but wants to do things at her own pace.

She has recently tweeted about walking as being one of her exercise regiments stating, “Just bought all the girls in my @weightwatchers group pedometers to track their steps. 10,000 steps a day = 5 miles! Let’s step it up!”

Simpson opened up to People telling them that she does not have a goal weight and has not set huge goals for herself. Instead she stated, “I really want to set small goals, so I’m constantly reaching goals and not looking at something so far ahead.”

Luckily, Simpson has the support of Weight Watchers, as they have denied that Simpson was given a deadline to lose the weight. It was rumored that Simpson had to lose 20 to 30 pounds by August, as reported by Ace Showbiz. Instead Weight watchers said they back [Simpson] 100 percent and they are “in it for the long haul.”
