When Kanye West and Kim Kardashian started romance rumors back in April, many speculated about whether or not the “Way Too Cold” rapper would be appearing on his girlfriend’s E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Those rumors have now been put to rest, as on a special night of Keeping Up on Monday, West made his Kardashian show debut. While his debut was limited, and mostly low-key, he showed up within the last couple of minutes of the show to pick up Kardashian from her New York apartment so they could go to Scott Disick’s restaurant opening at RYU.
“Hi babe, I’m so excited you’re coming tonight,” Kardashian said to West when he appeared in the doorway, Celebuzz reports.
West kept mum while Kardashian put together some shoes and jewelry for her outfit, and didn’t say anything except “You look great.”
In her interviews, Kardashian played down her relationship with the rapper. “We’re just hanging out, and that’s it,” she said.
Also on the episode, the family talked about West rapping about Kardashian in his song “Way Too Cold,” (which was previously “Theraflu”) in which he says "And I'll admit I fell in love with Kim/ Around the same time she had fell in love with him," MTV News reports.
When twice-divorced Kardashian and her older sister Kourtney get a call from their brother Rob about the song, Kim plays coy saying "Yeah I've heard it so, what?" as she smiles. "Just because I'm seen with someone, does it automatically mean that he's my boyfriend?"
