After five films, The Twilight Saga will come to an end this fall. But if Stephenie Meyer ever decided to continue writing the story of Edward, Bella and Renesmee, Kristen Stewart would be more than happy to reprise her role as Bella in the film.

The Twilight cast headed to Comic-Con this week to promote the final film in the franchise, Breaking Dawn Part 2. According to Zap2It, during the cast panel, Stephenie Meyer was asked if she would ever consider continuing the story.

"If there was a next one -- Bella's story is definitely told it's final,” Meyer responded. “Back in the day, when I was never going to stop writing about vampires, there was a reason this lovely lady [Renesmee] was created, I was creating a new leader."

When Meyer revealed her past desire to continue the story with Renesmee as the focus, Stewart, 22, was more than enthusiastic about it.

“Steph, I’m down,” she said. “If Stephenie suddenly wrote another book, I'd be like, let me read it immediately… I'm just saying, I would be open to the idea."

Robert Pattinson jokingly gave an idea of how it could continue while questioning Meyer how she might continue: “"Edward and Bella get divorced and it's kind of a Mr. and Mrs. Smith thing,” he said. “I’d rip your head off,” joked Stewart.

But while Twilight comes to an end for now, Kristen Stewart says she’ll “always have” it to look back on. She assures it will be a “satisfying” ending for fans.
