Kristin Chenoweth tweets ‘Doin better everyday’ after ‘Good Wife’ set accident

Kristin Chenoweth took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon to thank her fans for their support and to let them know that she is getting better everyday after her accident on the set of The Good Wife.

Chenoweth was injured back on July 11, after lighting equipment on the CBS show’s Brooklyn set hit her on the head. She was rushed to the hospital and later released the next day.

“Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes,” her rep confirmed at the time.

The Tony-winning actress had been quiet since the accident, but returned to Twitter on Tuesday, writing to fans, “thank you for support and love! Doin better everyday. More to come when im Able!” She later added, “Sounds dramatic: but im thankful to be here. I love this life! And am grateful! GoodnIght XO.”

She also reached out to the cast and crew of The Good Wife, adding, “I miss the crew and cast of The Good Wife. Love u guys. Xoxo.”

Just an hour ago, she tweeted that she has a “Big doctor day today :).”

Chenoweth has a recurring role on the acclaimed CBS drama, playing a political reporter. She won a Tony for You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, starred in Wicked and an Emmy for ABC’s Pushing Daisies. She has also recorded several albums.
