Lady Gaga comments on 'brutal' Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson cheating scandal

While Kristen Stewart has shown her remorse for cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married man, Rupert Sanders, Lady Gaga is coming to the actress’ defense.

The “Born This Way” singer tweeted on Wednesday "Geez this kirstew rob stuff is brutal. Makes me sad the way press acts.”

The singer also wrote "Hope they're ok," referring to Stewart and Pattinson, who have been dating since the first Twilight film.

E! News reports that while both Stewart and her Snow White and the Huntsman director have both issued statements of remorse about the cheating scandal, Pattinson hasn’t said a word.

Meanwhile, The Baltimore Sun has shared some reactions of the scandal from Twitter.

"Kristen Stewart can expect an edible arrangement from Tom Cruise in the next day or two,” wrote @tbrick2.

"@czilka wrote “Kim Jong-un marriage is announced as Kristen Stewart apologizes to Robert Pattinson for cheating. It's like an SAT analogy question."
