Lady Gaga’s done just about everything to astound fans with her outlandish outfits since she broke into the music scene. Now she’s trying to shock us by what she’s not wearing.

The 26-year-old starlet Tweeted a picture of herself seemingly naked, curled up in an armchair with her legs tucked into her chest, reports The Herald Sun.

Upon super-close examination, the “Born This Way” star appears to be wearing a thong. But the effect is eye-catchign nonetheless – especially since Gaga’s not decked out in her typically ostentatious attire.

To the contrary, she looks like she’s going back to basics in the photo. She’s wearing no makeup and none of her signature, flashy accessories. Her blonde hair is loose and unstyled, and he expression is benevolent – almost innocent.

According to E! News , the photo was taken back in November 2011. The caption reads, "Resting after BARNEY'S GAGA WORKSHOP OPENING IN NY.” So Lady Gaga rests by modeling naked for millions of viewers? Sounds like a great way to unwind.
