Michael Buble has joined NBC’s The Voice as an advisor to Blake Shelton’s team.
The “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer was announced as a new addition to the show on Monday.
The Associated Press reports that when The Voice starts up again in September, Buble, who is a "big Blake fan," will assist the country crooner in mentoring the contestants. He will mainly be helping out the singing hopefuls in picking the songs they will sing.
He has already started filming episodes of the show in L.A. on Monday. However, there’s no word on if there are advisors for the others judges Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green and Adam Levine or who they could be. Those advisors should be announced in the weeks to come.
According to Digital Spy, Buble will be filling the shoes of former Shelton advisor, Kelly Clarkson, who now appears on Duets.
The third season of The Voice will air on Monday, September 10 at 8pm.
