Pink hasn’t released a full album since Funhouse was released in 2008, so her announcement is an exciting one for fans of the “Raise Your Glass” singer.
“My new album is coming out on I believe September 18th, and it's called The Truth About Love,'" she proclaims in a YouTube video that was posted to her official website on the Fourth of July.
The new album will be the first that she will put out since welcoming her first child with husband Cary Hart, Willow Sage, last June.
On Tuesday, the first single from the album was released, called “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and was produced and co-written by Greg Kurstin.
The single was leaked last weekend, but the official release didn’t come until this week, Billboard reports.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, Funhouse sold 2 million copies domestically and included such hits as "So What," "Sober" and "Please Don't Leave Me."
Pink released a greatest hits album in 2010 called Greatest Hits... So Far!!!.
