Pink’s new album The Truth About Love features some cameos from her 1-year-old daughter Willow.
The “Raise Your Glass” singer admits that while becoming a mother hasn’t really “changed my songwriting,” she does say she’s “more aware of my cursing.”
But since her baby daughter is featured on some tracks on her new album, Pink explains how she made that possible.
"She plays bells on 'How Come You're Not Here,' and she plays bass on a song called 'Timebomb.' She's actually quite talented for a 13-month-old!" she told MTV News.
She adds, “There was a basket of sh--, and she came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, 'Record it!' And then she went up to the bass guitar on 'Timebomb' and started plucking away. She's actually pretty good! She's better on bass than I am! She plays piano, she bangs sh--, she's either going to be violent or a percussionist ... or a violent percussionist."
Entertainmentwise reports that while Pink admits not much about her music has changed, she said “Listening back on this album as a whole thing, it's still a clusterf**k. But I realize I must be happier, because it's a lot of dancing and rock and roll, I don't know, it's kind of scaring me."
