Private funeral service held for Sage Stallone in L.A.

Sylvester Stallone’s eldest son, Sage Stallone, was laid to rest Saturday in a private ceremony that took place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.

As previously reported, Sage was found in his home in Los Angeles on July 13, while his father, Sly, was at the Comic Con convention in San Diego.

There have been reports claiming that no foul play took place at the scene of the incident. The official cause of death was still undetermined because the results of the toxicology report haven’t been processed yet, according to Vancouver Sun.

Sage’s funeral service comes just one week after his untimely death.

TMZ reports that in attendance were Sylvester, his current wife Jennifer Falvin and Sly’s younger brother, Frank Stallone.

Sylvester released a statement regarding his son, Sage, stating, “This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage is our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace,” as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
