Rihanna on her love life: I'm 'rebellious' in every aspect of life and 'conservative' in love

By Gina DiFalco,

Rihanna covers the August issue Harper’s Bazaar, and inside its pages, the singer dishes about her love life.

The “We Found Love” singer told the mag that she’s rebellious in every aspect of her life except when it comes to matters of her heart.

Rihanna says she takes risks “through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair,” but she’s “conservative” with love.

“I have been conservative in my love life… it’s pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I’ll hang out,” she explained, People reports. “But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just — I don’t let people in.”

Presumably talking about her controversial relationship with Chris Brown, the Barbados-born beauty explained of a past love, “When I was in love, I fell so hard…The way it made me feel was priceless."

"And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I’d feel that pain in my life. I’m afraid of feeling that again.”

After Brown's famous 2009 arrest for assault on the singer, she moved on to baseball player Matt Kemp but hasn't dated anyone since then. She's been rumored to be seeing Brown again discreetly, even being the reason he and Drake's entourages got into a brawl at a NYC club recently.
