Russell Brand confirms relationship with Isabella Brewster

Russell Brand hasn’t wasted much time getting into a new relationship.

According to E! Online, Brand confirmed to Howard Stern on Wednesday morning that he’s dating Isabella Brewster, whose big sister is Dallas actress Jordana Brewster.

Brand wasn’t too open about his new girlfriend, only saying, "Some things in the newspaper aren't true…that's true, actually."

Us Weekly reports that while Brand is announcing it now, he and Brewster have been dating for a while now. A source told the magazine, “It's been going on for a few weeks…he really likes her."

The 37-year-old actor and comedian didn’t shy away from talking about his former wife Katy Perry. The couple announced their divorce in December of last year, and it was finalized on Monday.

"Before we got married, I just thought, 'I've got to marry her, I just love her so much," Brand said, touching on how his marriage to the pop star went sour. "And then we got married and I thought, 'OK, this isn't really working out.'"

Although they separated, Brand assured Stern that the former couple is on good terms and that he doesn’t harbor hard feelings towards his ex-wife.

"She's young, successful and dedicated," Brand said. "She's beautiful and she's sensitive and I care about her deeply."
