Tom Cruise fights back, calls Life and Style claims 'false'

Tom Cruise has been accused of a lot of things, but don’t accuse him of being a bad dad.

The Oblivion actor is fuming after hearing about the cover of Life and Style magazine features an article entitled, “Suri Cruise Abandoned By Her Dad.” Now, TMZ reports that the actor's lawyer, Bert Fields, is firing off words telling the magazine that they better watch what they write about Cruise.

Fields states that the idea of Cruise being a bad father, “That, as anyone knows who saw their photos together yesterday and today, is a disgusting, vicious lie.”

He adds, "Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day."

Continuing, Fields states, "He's with Suri right now; and he was with her the day before Life & Style trumpeted their cruelly false accusation. Tom dearly loves Suri and the last thing he would ever do is abandoned her."

Cruise and Suri were spotted together, their first day together since Cruise and mother, actress Katie Holmes, divorce. At the time, Cruise reportedly, “looked happy” while spending the day with his daughter.

Since the settlement, Cruise has been granted “generous” visitation time with his daughter, and has even video chatted with the six-year-old while filming on location prior to his NYC trip.
