U.K.'s Mark Wright wants to play Christian Grey in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' film adaptation

Yet another actor is coming forward to express interest in the part of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The U.K. actor, who starred in The Only Way Is Essex and Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights, thinks that landing this role would put him on the map in the U.S.

"I'd love to play Christian - that would be such a great part for me. Everybody is loving that book right now," he told the Daily Star, The Press Association.

Wright continued that he doesn’t have the same S&M ways as Grey, but he would still take on the role.

"I'm not into sado-masochism myself though, I'm more of a romantic. I swear I've never been whipped in my life,” he said.

He continued, “I want to be James Bond one day. Nothing fazes me. You've got to have ambition. I want to be a massive Hollywood actor.”
