Another Whitney Houston greatest hits album to be released this fall

Today would have marked the 49th birthday of singing icon Whitney Houston. As fans mark the occasion by listening to old records from the Sparkle star, new reports give them more to look forward to in terms of her music.

According to Billboard, a greatest hits album will be released this fall through RCA Records.

This will mark the second greatest hits album from the “I Will Always Love You" singer that was released in the United States. The first was released in the year 2000 and was titled Whitney: The Greatest Hits.

In the U.K., Houston released The Ultimate Collection, which peaked at No. 3 on the charts.

Houston, who passed away on February 11, has had 39 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 list in her successful career.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Houston’s big screen comeback and final film, Sparkle, show her last performance.

Sparkle will hit theaters on August 17.
