Beyonce and her agency ICM shopping around documentary about her life, career

By Gina DiFalco,

Beyonce will give fans a closer look into her career, as she will direct and star in a documentary about her life and successful career.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the “Love on Top” singer and her agency ICM have been shopping around a nonfiction film to major Hollywood studios.

The film, which the new mother would direct, will reportedly feature a combination of concert footage like Katy Perry: Part of Me and Justin Bieber: My World, as well as confessional interview footage.

This isn’t the first time Beyonce has released something like this, as she created Beyoncé: Year of 4 for MTV which was a short documentary on returning to the studio after taking time off to have her daughter Blue Ivy.

Celebuzz reports that Beyonce is still set to appear in the A Star is Born remake that Clint Eastwood is making.

Beyonce’s latest album 4 has topped the charts, she just had Blue Ivy with husband Jay-Z in January and she also just returned to the stage in May after giving birth.

Beyonce’s rep at ICM hasn’t responded for a comment on the report.
