Bruce Jenner on Olympics: “Fatherhood is a lot tougher”

By Diana Cooper,

Bruce Jenner, known for being a famous athlete and the step-dad to the Kardashians, re-visited the Olympics, but this time it was to be a correspondent for E! News.

On Thursday, Kim tweeted, “Awww watching Bruce on TV in London interviewing everyone! I miss him!!!” Bruce, who interviewed many athletes including the USA gymnastics team, thinks the ‘Fab Five’ gymnasts “did an absolutely fabulous job.”

When Ryan Seacrest interviewed Jenner on 102.7 KISS FM, he said, “They’re classy. They worked extraordinarily hard. They’re fabulously gifted. They’re just great representatives of young women in our country.”

The 62-year-old husband of Kris Jenner gave insight to the 2012 London Olympics, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and fatherhood.

“If I were to compare the Olympic decathlon to fatherhood, I would say fatherhood is a lot tougher. A lot harder,” he revealed. “I’ve got so many more things to deal with in my personal life. In those days it was all centered focused."

Jenner earned the title of the “World’s Greatest Athlete” in 1976 when he competed in the Montreal Summer Olympics and won a gold medal in the decathlon. He carried on this title “until they saw my golf swing,” he joked.

Years later, it seems that Michael Phelps is becoming this generation’s Bruce Jenner. “I had to go in 10 events to get one lousy medal and he gets a medal in every event," he says of Phelps. "It just doesn’t seem fair...I have people all the time come up to me, ‘Now how many medals did you win?’ And I go, ‘Uh, well, just one. But it’s a good one, I had to do a lot to get it.’”

In addition to being famous from his Olympic title, he now is commonly referred to as Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Kardashian’s step-dad and the father of Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Despite all of the drama on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which is currently in the middle of Season 7, Jenner admitted, “The show has been a lot of fun. I’ve had a lot of fun with it...I’m really proud of the show. I’m really proud of my kids. They have been able to handle this...You know we have had, out of 10 children, no drug problems, no drinking problems, no major problems.”

But, is he having his own major problem with his wife? Watch KUWTK Sundays on E! to find out!
