If you’re anything like me you’ve wondered what it’s like to meet your older or younger self. The upcoming film Looper explore that concept with stars Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis.
Looper is set in the future where time travel exists, but it is illegal. Levitt’s character Joe is a “Looper” who works for a criminal organization and basically is told who they should assassinate. As a “Looper” Levitt’s character has the ability to time travel in order to complete his job. Things go south when an older version of Joe played by Bruce Willis returns to the past and the younger Joe is ordered to kill his order self.
A new clip featuring Levitt and Willis was released on Yahoo. In the clip the two versions of Joe confront each other at restaurant and if any of you thought that a younger version of yourself could beat up an older, balding and grey-haired version of yourself watch the clip below because Willis might make you think twice.
Levitt described his preparation for the role to The Hollywood Reporter at Comic Con 2012. He explained he wanted to emulate Willis’ mannerisms and how he talked “I really did study him. I watched his movie on repeat, I took the audio off of his movie and put them on my iPod so I could listen to him…But really more helpful than anything was getting to hang out with him.”
The film hits theaters on September 28.
