Aaron Paul turns 33
Aaron Paul has managed to have an expansive acting career, one that began in 1990 with a small appearance in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. Since that time, he has made many television appearances. These include roles in ER, CSI: Miami, Bones and Criminal Minds, among many other television shows.
Paul was born in Emmett, Idaho in 1979.
Growing up, he had spent much of his time in church because of his father’s role as a Baptist minister. At church he would take part in many of the programs and by the time he graduated from high school he decided to pursue a career in acting.
This career decision led to minor roles in a variety of shows. In addition to television he has acted in a number of films. Many people may recognize Aaron Paul from his role as Francis in 2010’s The Last House on the Left.
In 2007, Paul gained a recurring role in the HBO series, Big Love. The show follows Bill Paxton’s character, Bill Henrickson, a polygamist married to three women. Aaron Paul played the role of Scott Quittman in the show until 2011.
Paul began his role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad in 2008. The AMC series also stars Bryan Cranston as a chemistry teacher-turned dealer struggling with his cancer diagnosis. The two actors complement each other well. This fact was evident to series creator, Vince Gilligan, who had originally intended Paul’s character to only last through season 1. Paul has found success and recognition with his role as Jesse Pinkman.
He continues to keep busy with film roles which include the lead in the upcoming, Smashed.
Today, Aaron Paul took to his Twitter page to thank fans for birthday wishes, saying, “just looked at twitter and was humbled and amazed by all of the amazing birthday wishes. Thank you all so much. Now go eat cake.”
Aaron Paul can be seen in the final season of Breaking Bad, which airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on AMC.
