Demi Lovato has a ‘90’s grunge’ moment

Demi Lovato’s style is always evolving. The 20-year-old “Give Your Heart a Break” singer has rocked everything from glam to gothic and now she’s going back to a style with a little more of an edge.

On Thursday, Lovato stopped in Washington as part of her summer tour. While there, she debuted her new 90’s grunge-inspired look.

“In Seattle, rocking a flannel and listening to Nirvana.... #90sgrunge” she tweeted along with a photo. Flannel wasn’t the only thing she was rocking. No longer with colored tips, she showed off her new platinum locks.

Demi may not have the music to match the grunge style, but she definitely has the rebellious attitude. She was not shy about admitting in an interview this year that she has done “some pretty rock ‘n’ roll things,” even some things she’d rather not talk about.

“I break things,” she said. “I’ve trashed hotel rooms just for the hell of it.”

She explained, “I like to throw things when I’m bored.”
