E.L. James to release a classical album to accompany 'Fifty Shades of Grey' trilogy

By Gina DiFalco,

E.L. James, the British author responsible for the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, will release an album to coincide with the success of the books.

James has already posted a soundtrack on her official website, which includes tracks mentioned in the books such as Kings of Leon’s “Sex on Fire” and “Lakmé (Act I): Flower Duet” by Alain Lombard, Mady Mesple, Danielle Millet & Orchestre du Théâtre National de l'Opéra-Comique as well as Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”

But Entertainment Weekly reports that the album will be strictly classical songs and will be released by EMI digitally on August 15, followed by a physical version on September 18.
