Former 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' star Jen Schefft welcomes second daughter

Former Bachelorette star Jen Schefft has welcomed her second child with husband Joe Waterman.

The two-time mom tweeted on Thursday “Our little Charlotte Grace Waterman was born 7/31/12 weighing 8lbs 3oz! She is a doll and we couldn't be happier!”

Charlotte has a big sister named Mae Elizabeth, who Schefft and Waterman welcomed in November of 2010, E! Online reports.

It’s been a long road to get her happily ever after, but Schefft found it with Waterman after getting engaged to Andrew Firestone on The Bachelor’s third season in 2003.

In 2005, she then went on to star in ABC’s The Bachelorette, where she was proposed to by Jerry Ferris but she turned it down.

People reports that Schefft then met Waterman, who is a trader, on a blind date back in 2008. The rest is history as the two tied the knot in May 2009.

Schefft describes herself on Twitter, writing “Former Bachelorette, Mae's mommy, Joe's wife and PR specialist just living a normal life in the 'burbs of Chicago.”
