Gwen Stefani hosted a fundraiser at her LA home on Sunday with Michelle Obama in tow, to help raise awareness for the upcoming presidential campaign.
The event was called “Sunday of Fun,” which catered to families that are politically aware. It was reported that tickets were sold at 2,500 dollars per families of four.
The dress code was pretty casual since it was warm out and there were balloons and face painting for the children.
The Hollywood Reporter stated that Michelle Obama will be touring around in various parts of LA, attending fundraising events. Gwen Stefani’s house was her first stop.
The First Lady is also said to be stopping by Warner Bros. CEO Barry Meyer's home as well as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Other celebs were in attendance at Gwen’s fundraiser included Alyson Hannigan, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, according to Us Weekly.
While at the event Michelle told guests, “Barack can’t do it alone. He’s not Spider-Man. He’s not a superhero. He’s a human, so we need your help.”
