Justin Bieber visits Selena Gomez on the set of her new movie

Justin Bieber is one supportive boyfriend. The 18-year-old "As Long As You Love Me" singer surprised girlfriend Selena Gomez, 20, and paid a visit to the set of her new movie, Parental Guidance Suggested, on Friday in Los Angeles.

According to Just Jared, Parental Guidance Suggested is a film based on the book, While I'm Dead...Feed the Dog. It follows the story of Ric Thibault, played by Nat Wolff , and his crush Nina, played by Selena Gomez. They embark on a "rock 'n' roll odyssey" together.

During the set visit, Justin and Selena were spotted holding hands as they walked around set during a break from shooting. When filming wrapped for the day, Gomez reportedly left the set in a car Bieber had waiting for her.

Justin and Selena were recently plagued with breakup rumors, but it seems they are still going strong. In the September issue of Teen Vogue, Gomez said she felt "lucky" to have the relationship she has with Bieber.

"It's really fun. I'm lucky," she said. "I'm 20. I don't take anything in my personal life too seriously. I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically."
