Karmin's Nick Noonan and Amy Heidemann aren't just a musical duo, they are also engaged to be married. The couple met while attending Berklee College of Music. But since earning success with their covers on YouTube and their own hit singles like "Brokenhearted" and a new album, Nick and Amy have made Karmin their priority, putting wedding plans on hold.
"People ask us a lot and obviously that is something that comes up, but we haven't talked about it," Nick told MTV News. "We've talked about it, but we haven't really thought about dates yet."
Even though they have not yet planned the wedding, fame has put pressure on their wedding day.
"We're, like, nervous about it now because before we had planned this little wedding, it was going to be really understated, and that's what we wanted at the time, and now we're like, 'The rest of the world is kind of watching,' " Amy added. "[AOL] put us on this list of most anticipated weddings. We're like 'oh geez.' We better do this right, and that will take time."
For now, they are focusing on their career. They just released a new music video for their new single, "Hello" and they don't have a day off until December 22. Nick and Amy don't mind spending so much time with each other, though.
"It's intense being together all the time, although on the same side, cheesy side of the story, is that it is really special, everything that we've accomplished this year," Amy said. "I feel a lot of people don't get to do that in a lifetime, and we've done so much in one year together, and I don't know how to explain it to somebody if they weren't with me. It's cool."
