Kim Kardashian dons prison orange for 'Drop Dead Diva'

Kim Kardashian has donned orange jail garb for an upcoming episode of Drop Dead Diva.

She returns to the series playing Nikki LePree, a relationship advice guru who steals the life savings of April Bowlby’s Stacy, who had given Nikki the money under the promise of starting their own pie and cake business.

But in the Aug. 26 episode, Nikki is finally arrested.

“We wrote her a three episode arc. But, once she got on set and I was with her I got to see what her strengths were and we got to write to those… Her character goes head to head with Jane (played by Brooke Ellliot). She’s got a fantastic twist that no one will see coming in episode three,” said series creator Josh Berman.

He added that he was impressed with the reality star’s sense of humor, intelligence and passion. Berman views Diva as a chance for Kardashian to reinvent herself.

Diva airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
