While promoting her newest movie Hit & Run, in which she stars with her fiancé Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell stopped by Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Wednesday and discussed her desire to make a Veronica Mars movie.
Although the show ended five years ago, Bell said she is determined to get a film based on the show off the ground.
"If I have my choice, there will be,” Bell told Seacrest about making the film, Zap2it reports.
She added, "And it will be before I'm in a nursing home, I'm telling you, if I have any control over it."
So if she’s on-board, what’s the hold up?
"It keeps getting caught up in the legal department, as everything good does,” she said. “ So we just continue to try to push it and let them know there's a fan base for it."
As for her film Hit & Run, which hits theaters on August 22, Bell told Seacrest “From the inception of the idea Dax said, ‘You know, I want to write this movie, do you want to be involved in it?’ And I said, ‘Yes of course, absolutely, I would love to be work you,’ and then he went and wrote it for three weeks, so I was involved before it was written so thank god it was good. This always seems to shock people. We actually love spending time together and that’s why we do it.”
