By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Kristen Stewart has been dropped from the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsmen.

Perez Hilton reports that following the scandal that surfaced involving Kstew and her married Snow White director, Rupert Sanders having an all-out affair, the actress has been dropped from the role as Snow White as confirmed by Universal.

According to the report, the sequel is set to focus on Chris Hemsworth’s character rather than on the lead character. Universal spokesperson notes, “The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise."

Following the news of the love affair, Sanders’ wife, model Liberty Ross, refused to see Sanders directing the sequel to the film that inadvertently started affair.

Just last week Stewart dropped out of her role in Cali. According to reports Stewart is having a difficult time focusing on work since coming forward and apologizing to her boyfriend, Twilight actor Robert Pattinson.

Thus far, the 22-year-old is still set to take on Lie Down In Darkness.
